This week's blog post is less of a blog post and more of a visual story. My cousin, Nina, was visiting for the weekend and I jumped at the opportunity to take advantage of the slightly-less-than-blizzardy weather and get in a photo shoot with her! Unfortunately for us, the lack of snowfall didn't mean that it was any warmer outside, and we soon found ourselves walking around Rogers City, freezing our butts off, with impassable sidewalks everywhere.
We wandered around awhile, certain we were going to die out there, when we came across the landromat.
"Let's head in here and warm up," I suggested. Nina jumped at the chance to regain feeling in her toes, and once we were inside, I was struck with an idea.
We found an empty stall and began an impromptu shoot, much to the wry amusement of the people around us. But joke's on them, because I'm thrilled with the way these came out! It just goes to show that you don't necessarily need a picturesque meadow to get in some great lifestyle shots. Like most things, photography is all about finding the light.
Great blog I enjoyed reading it
